DOMINO – DomStufen-Festspiele for Children 2025
Many children always want what they don't have. The same thing happens to the peace-loving little ghost that has been haunting Eulenstein Castle night after night for many centuries. His fondest wish is to see everything in daylight. Then suddenly this dream unexpectedly comes true: Instead of midnight, the little ghost suddenly wakes up at 12 noon. However, the night ghost now turns into a daytime ghost from which people run away. The little ghost soon longs for his old nocturnal life again and for his best friend, the wise eagle owl Schuhu. Thanks to Caroline, an intrepid and helpful girl who the little ghost befriends, he is able to make contact with the nocturnal eagle owl Schuhu. Together they find out why the little ghost became a daytime ghost and how it can become a nighttime ghost again.
The composer Peter Leipold conjures up the turbulent world of the cheeky little ghost with catchy melodies, lots of sound painting and lively children's choir scenes - a musical adventure for all small and young at heart DomStufen visitors!
