Getting here and parking

Getting here

Because of its central location, Erfurt benefits from an excellent infrastructure, including an airport, ICE connection and motorway intersection. The city is located at a major railway intersection in the centre of Germany. Because of its link to the main Frankfurt/Main-Erfurt-Halle/Leipzig line and the Ruhr Area-Kassel-Erfurt-Chemnitz central German rail link, the city of Erfurt can be reached quickly and easily.

The DomStufen-Festspiele is held at the foot of the Domberg on Domplatz. It can also easily be reached on foot from Erfurt’s main railway station. The "Domplatz Süd" stop can be reached from the train station using tram line 2. From other directions (and also from the main station), tram lines 3 and 6 stop at the "Domplatz Nord" stop.

Parking

There is sufficient parking in the car park ‘Parkhaus Domplatz’ for the DomStufen-Festspiele. Please note the maximum entrance height of 2 meters when parking. The standard size for barrier-free parking is largely provided, the lighting is adequate, and the parking spaces are level.
