DOMINO-Expedition

Where do the actors hang out before they go on stage? What helps singers to transform themselves into a stage figure? And what does the stage set actually look like close up? Together with our musical theatre educationalists, families can take a little glimpse behind the scenes at the DomStufen Festival and watch the actors and directors in all the hustle and bustle of the theatre – whilst learning some fascinating facts about costumes, wigs and loud-voiced tenors!

EXPERTENSCHMIEDE GRAND OPERA WORKSHOP IN FRONT OF ERFURT CATHEDRAL

At this workshop in Theater Erfurt, young people aged 12 and above can explore the world of opera. This means not just watching, but also taking part creatively: Through their voices, music and acting, the participants will discover the secrets of musical theatre production on the Cathedral steps – including an orchestral dress rehearsal or a performance. Materials about the productions on the Cathedral steps for use in teaching are available on the relevant page for each production from the beginning of July. We would be happy to accompany your visit to the DomStufen-Festspiele with an introduction and/or follow-up session as part of your teaching.
