Where do the actors hang out before they go on stage? What helps singers to transform themselves into a stage figure? And what does the stage set actually look like close up? Together with our musical theatre educationalists, families can take a little glimpse behind the scenes at the DomStufen Festival and watch the actors and directors in all the hustle and bustle of the theatre – whilst learning some fascinating facts about costumes, wigs and loud-voiced tenors!
At this workshop in Theater Erfurt, young people aged 12 and above can explore the world of opera. This means not just watching, but also taking part creatively: Through their voices, music and acting, the participants will discover the secrets of musical theatre production on the Cathedral steps – including an orchestral dress rehearsal or a performance.
