Theatre tickets (up to four per order) can also be bought online on the Theater Erfurt websites and A system fee of €1.50 will be charged for the purchase of every ticket booked online. For online bookings made at least ten days before the event date, tickets can be sent out in return for a handling fee of €3 per order (if tickets are booked from abroad, they must be booked at least fifteen days before the booked event date to be eligible for posting), after this the tickets will be held at the event ticket office. Special prices are only available via our Visitor Service.

If the Ticketdirekt delivery option (print at home) is used, the theatre ticket must be printed out in A4 format. The printout may not be reproduced or changed. Please have an ID available at the entrance to the event. Theater Erfurt is not liable if the Ticketdirekt theatre ticket is lost and/or misused.

Event box offices

The event box offices on the DomStufen site each open an hour before the start of the event. Access to the audience seating is available approx. 30 minutes before the start of the event.

Exchange and loss

Tickets may be returned up to 3 working days before the event subject to payment of a cancellation fee of €3 per ticket. This does not included New Year’s Eve, Christmas Day, New Year and the DomStufen-Festspiele. The refund is issued in the form of a credit voucher. A replacement ticket can be issued in the event of loss. However, the holder of the original ticket has priority over the holder of the replacement ticket.

Senior citizens, school students, persons with disability and holders of a ‘Sozialausweis’ (social identity card) of the City of Erfurt or other cities are entitled to reduced-price tickets for the DomStufen-Festspiele on production of corresponding ID. Disabled persons with an official pass (classification “B” in the Disability Pass) may be accompanied free of charge to performances on the Domstufen site by a person deemed to be essential. Wheelchair users (and an accompanying person if necessary) can only apply for tickets directly from the Visitor Service.

On production of a corresponding ID, students, trainees and members of the Federal Volunteers Service up to and including the age of 26 can obtain tickets for all performances at the DomStufen-Festspiele for €30 subject to availability. This offer does not apply for "Domino" events.
