DOMINO – DomStufen-Festpiele for Children 2012 (2010)
Pippi Longstocking, Viktualia, Rollgardina, Peppermintza, Efraim's Daughter, Longstocking is returning, and you can once again look forward to Astrid Lindgren's freckly, red-haired heroine, who, with her imagination, fearlessness, and cheekiness, is arguably one of the most famous characters in children's literature.
Pippi Longstocking is super strong, cheerful, wonderfully unconventional, and a wonderful liar. She does whatever she wants, because without parents, she lives in Villa Villekulla with her horse and the little monkey, Mr. Nilsson. The thieves Donner-Karlsson and Blom aren't the only ones who realize that she can take care of herself; she triumphs over police officers and teachers just as effortlessly. Despite her best intentions, she's constantly getting into trouble, but she's a wonderful friend to Thomas and Annika, because since Pippi moved into their neighborhood, they've never been bored again.
